The "Don’t Be Fooled" program is a high energy, fast paced, highly professional production in which John uses magic, juggling, hilarious comedy and live animals to deliver a powerful message about the dangers of substance abuse.

"Don't Be Fooled" focuses on staying away from tobacco, alcohol and illegal drugs; the importance of staying in school; treating yourself and others with respect and the need to take responsability and make positive life choices.

John Louis is a professional educational entertainer who has delighted audiences all over the country. He has performed more than 4000 live shows during his career. He was the children’s entertainer at the Cincinnati Zoo for two years and he has presented "Don’t Be Fooled" in over 500 schools.

John has a B.A. in Psychology and a M.A. in Criminal Justice. He has over ten years of work experience within the criminal justice system. He knows about the dangers of substance abuse and has the ability relate it to others.

"Don’t Be Fooled" is specifically designed to emphasize what youth are being taught in D.A.R.E., Youth Power, and other substance abuse prevention programs.

Fun for all ages.

John Louis has his own sound system and his own professional setup. He can present in a gymnasium, cafeteria, theater, or any other venue you require.

Each presentation lasts approximately 50 minutes, but can vary depending upon your request. Set up/take down time requires about an hour.

The program is tailored to age-specific content. Most of the schools who have "Don’t Be Fooled" request programs for grades K – 3 and grades 4 on up.
